D12: Slow shutter speed and the Loch Ness Monster

I decided to play with slow shutter speed today. I tried taking some photos of fountains but didn't get the effect I was after. I saw this escalator and decided to try and make it look somewhat like a waterfall. I didn't have a tripod with me so I put the camera on a brick column across from the escalator. This was close to what I was picturing - making the steps look somewhat like moving water. 1/2 sec @ F8, ISO 400 I also saw the Loch Ness Monster's southern cousin. Isn't he scary?! :)
