Day184: '57 T-Bird

There were antique cars parked at the local Chik-Fil-A today so I stopped to take a look at them. At first I thought it was an antique car show, then I saw a 2010 Mustang Cobra with the hood raised, so I decided it was for car enthusiasts in general. I talked to the owners of one of the cars and this has become the Saturday evening past time of a lot of locals, most with antique cars, but a few with newer cars that just like to hang out with other car lovers. There was a DJ playing oldies music and cars mostly from the 50's and 60's. Just as I was about to leave, a 1957 Thunderbird convertible pulled in. I had to take a look at it because I have loved this model T-Bird ever since I was a girl. The owners, Clyde and Donna Barcus, told me I could sit in it if I wanted to! As I always expected, this model T-Bird is just my size although I don't know if it would ever fit in my budget! :)
