Art for Your Heart™ Coloring Books
My latest venture is into the world of coloring books for grown ups. I've always loved to draw and thought coloring books would be fun to do. Coloring books have become a favorite past time of many adults. Coloring in the pages of a coloring book may help to relieve stress and reduce anxiety. They give us a way to relax and unwind.
My first coloring book, Memories of the 1970s, is available on Amazon. A link to purchase is below the cover image. Please send pictures of your colored pages to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd love to see them! I hope you enjoy it!
Are you a child of the 1970s? Was it the decade of your impressionable, growing up years – the BEST DECADE EVER? Was the skating rink your weekend hangout? Did you have to get off the couch to change the TV channel and go to the kitchen to answer the rotary phone? Did you doodle all over your denim three ring binders and brown paper bag book covers then color the doodles with markers? Then take a trip down memory lane to the days of doodling, drawing, and coloring ‘70s style. Forget your worries and focus on coloring. Coloring can reduce stress and anxiety, just like it did in the ‘70s. All you need is your imagination and some colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Alisa Whitley’s Art for Your Heart ‘70s style mod art pages are printed on only one side of the page so you can use your favorite medium. There’s no right or wrong way to color! You can simply color the designs or you can fill in spaces with your own psychedelic doodles and drawings. Put on your favorite album, grab your markers, and find some peace, love, and happiness!
